STANDARDS OF USER BEHAVIOR FOR LONG-DISTANCE SCHEDULED SERVICE

These "GENERAL CONDITIONS OF TRANSPORT" apply to passenger transportation for services under Ministerial authorization, exercised by Miccolis S.p.A, in accordance with the provisions of the EU Regulationn.181 February 16, 2011.

The customer is obliged to comply with the general conditions of transportation that can be consulted on the website busmiccolis.hz.robertoantonacci.com.

1) OBLIGATIONS OF TRANSPORTATION

1.1) Published schedules are subject to change, so you are required to ask for confirmation at the time of booking. Miccolis S.p.A. is not responsible for delays, interruptions or missed connections, due to causes beyond its control (such as strikes, force majeure, bad weather, mechanical failures, traffic, road conditions, controls, etc.).

2) TICKET

2.1) The ticket is registered and cannot be transferred, it is valid only for the day and time indicated on it. The travel ticket lacking essential data (name, date, time, departure and arrival pole, amount paid) is not valid. Likewise, a travel ticket that is forged, not intact or otherwise rendered illegible is not valid.

2.2) The ticket must be presented in paper form or on a mobile device, at every request of the on-board staff for control; at departure, the ticket in paper form, must be intact, not deteriorated and complete in its parts. Travelers without a ticket or with an altered or counterfeit ticket will be subject to the payment of the fare provided for the route used, the penalties provided by the relevant regional regulations, without prejudice to criminal penalties if the act constitutes a crime.

2.3) Boarding and disembarking from the vehicle is only allowed at the stops on the route shown on the purchased ticket, in order to safely ensure the smooth execution of the service.

Getting off at a different stop (earlier or later) than the one shown on the purchased ticket may only be allowed after checking seat availability and regularizing on board by paying the amount corresponding to the requested ticket change.

Failure to comply with the above rules will result in the application of the relevant penalties, as provided for in the relevant regional regulations.

2.4) The traveler is obligated to request and keep the ticket for the duration of the ride.

2.5) In case of theft or loss of the ticket, it is necessary to proceed, as follows:

  • Reprint the ticket received by e-mail (if the purchase was made online);
  • directly contact the agency from which the ticket was purchased, for a reprint;
  • Contact Miccolis S.p.A. at the e-mail address. info@busmiccolis.it or to the pec address miccolis.spa@pec.it

2.6) All rides are made by compulsory and named reservation. The customer's personal details must be indicated on the same ticket.

3) TICKET BILLING

3.1) The ticket in accordance with Article 12 Law 12.1991 No. 413. has the value of a receipt. The issuance of the invoice may be requested by the passenger within 48 hours from the date of purchase to the e-mail address fatturazione@busmiccolis.it, by filling out the appropriate downloadable form in the Customer Area of the website ww.busmiccolis.it. The request must be made by sending the copy of the ticket.

Miccolis S.p.A. will send the invoice in pdf format to the e-mail address provided by private customers and in electronic format, to companies that have provided the necessary data in the form posted on the website.

4) PASSENGER'S OBLIGATIONS

4.1) Customers must report to the departure point at least 15 minutes before the official time. Customers without a ticket are not allowed.

4.2) It is obligatory not to leave the vehicle in case of stops not included in the official timetable, except with the express permission of the service personnel.

4.3) It is strictly forbidden to deposit luggage along the aisles and stairs of buses or to stand while the vehicle is in motion, as well as to open the outer doors of vehicles and get on or off vehicles when they are not completely stopped.

4.4) The use of cell phones or laptop computers is allowed on board buses, provided that no disturbance is caused to other travelers or service personnel.

5) REFRESHMENT STOPS-TOILET-SMOKING

5.1) Technical refreshment stops along the route, at equipped service areas where passengers can use the services, usually last 30 minutes. Customers may not stay out of the vehicle beyond that time, after which failure to return cannot be charged to staff responsibility.

5.2) Smoking is prohibited on board the buses. Violators are subject to the administrative penalties in force.

5.3) Where buses are equipped with on-board toilets, these are available to passengers in case of absolute necessity.

6) MINOR TRANSPORTATION

6.1) Children between the ages of 0 and 3 may only be transported in approved child seats for small children. During the trip, child seats must be secured with the seat belts on the bus. Said seats must be secured with the two-point belt and be carried by accompanying adults. Miccolis assumes no responsibility for the suitability and legal compliance of seats carried by accompanying adults.

6.2) Minors weighing up to 36 and up to 1.50 meters in height traveling on buses and minibuses used for regular service may not be insured with child restraints, provided they do not occupy a front seat and are accompanied by at least one passenger not less than 16 years of age.

6.3) Infants up to the age of 1, travel free of charge;

6.4) Children under the age of 16 are not allowed to be transported unless accompanied. For minors aged 16 to 18 years and under, it is necessary to provide Written permission from parent or guardian, to be handed over to the driving staff.

7) RIGHTS OF PASSENGERS WITH DISABILITIES OR REDUCED MOBILITY

7.1) Miccolis S.p.A. guarantees the transportation of passengers with disabilities and reduced mobility at no additional cost for reservations and tickets, except for safety reasons and in the event that the configuration of the vehicle or infrastructure does not allow for the safe or practical transportation of such person.

7.2) If the above-mentioned security and infrastructure problems, for which the passenger in question is denied a reservation or boarding, can be resolved by the presence of a person who can provide the necessary assistance, the passenger may request to be accompanied by a person of his or her choice, free of charge.

7.3) Total disability, recognized by the relevant bodies, entitles the holder to a free ticket, subject to verification of the requirements, by contacting the offices of Miccolis S.p.A., at the email address info@busmiccolis.it or to the pec address miccolis.spa@pec.it.

Compensation (equal to the cost of repair or replacement) by Miccolis S.p.A. is also provided in the event of loss or damage to mobility equipment (wheelchairs and other assistive devices) attributable to the carrier. If necessary, the carrier shall endeavor to the extent possible to temporarily replace the lost or damaged mobility equipment.

8) TICKET CHANGES AND REFUNDS 

8.1) The date and time of the ride booked and indicated on the ticket may be changed at a cost of €5.00, within 2 hours of departure, under the following conditions:

  • At the agencies affiliated or not affiliated with Miccolis S.p,A,, which issued the ticket, during public opening hours and excluding holidays;
  • on the website busmiccolis.co.uk/travel-reimbursement/, always within 2 hours of departure if the ticket was booked online with credit cards or prepaid cards;

8.2) The new ticket must be shown to the cabin crew at all times, either in paper form or on a mobile device

8.3) Unused ticket is refundable under the following conditions:

  • Before 7 from departure - coupon equal to 100% of the price;
  • Up to 7 from departure - coupon equal to 75% of the price;
  • Up to 3 days before departure - coupon equal to 50% of the price;
  • From 2 days until departure -no refunds

9) BAGGAGE TRANSPORTATION

9.1) It is permitted, for the traveler in possession of a regular ticket, to carry free of charge in the hold up to two pieces of luggage per passenger and to carry on board a smaller piece of luggage for personal use (handbag, briefcase, pc bag, etc.), to be kept under one's sole responsibility, for which Miccolis S.p.A. is not responsible. It is possible to carry extra luggage at an additional cost of € 3.00 each

9.2) The contents of luggage, is not insured and travels at the passenger's own risk.

9.3) The checked baggage must be affixed, by the passenger, with the appropriate label on the print of the ticket, for the use of public authority/law enforcement controls and do not constitute taking delivery and/or taking into custody.

9.4) For safety reasons, it is absolutely forbidden to transport compressed, dissolved or liquefied gas cylinders, liquids in general, explosive, flammable, corrosive, dangerous, harmful and contaminating materials, fragile objects (vases, cameras, etc.), money, precious jewelry.

9.5) It is absolutely forbidden to transport hazardous materials, the transportation of which is regulated by special safety regulations, as well as fragile materials.

9.6) Loss of luggage must be reported immediately to the cabin crew by completing and signing the appropriate report form. The formal written report of loss or theft must be made no later than 3 days after the end of the trip, sending a copy of the ticket and a copy of the report made to the Competent Authorities (letter to be sent by registered mail with return receipt to Miccolis s.p.a. - Via Delle Mammole, 26 - 70026 Modugno (BA) or by pec to miccolis.spa@pec.it.

9.7) The traveler is required to personally take care of the collection of the found luggage at the Assistance Office that will be notified to him/her.

9.8) Miccolis S.p.A. assumes no liability for the luggage transported, except for that which is checked in at departure and for which the rules of law apply. The carrier, whose fault, if any, is proved, shall be liable only to the extent provided for in EU Regulation No. 181/2011.

9.9) The customer is required to indicate on each piece of luggage, his or her full name, address and telephone number.

10) ANIMAL TRANSPORT

10.1) Animals are not allowed to be transported, except:

    • of small ones provided they are enclosed in a special cage, having a maximum size of 95 cm. (sum of length, height and depth), packed so as not to cause damage or inconvenience to other travelers and service personnel, transported under the full responsibility of the owner. In such a case, the fare for transportation is 50% of the ordinary fare, without the right to occupy a seat;
    • Of guide dogs for the blind who travel free of charge.

11) PRIVACY.

11.1) The privacy policy in accordance with Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") for the processing of personal data can be viewed on the website busmiccolis.hz.robertoantonacci.com

12.1) Any complaints or simple communications and requests for clarification may be forwarded to

The traveler is required to personally take care of the collection of the found items, at the Service Office that will be communicated to him/her. The Miccolis S.p.A., assumes no responsibility, in case of failure to find the same.

FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE RULES CONTAINED IN THE CORPORATE REGULATIONS, WILL RESULT IN THE APPLICATION OF ADMINISTRATIVE FINES, PROVIDED FOR IN THE CURRENT REGULATIONS.
